Wednesdays thunder storm and rain shower was a delightful backdrop to the cityscape. The Storm was so loud the city soundscape took a back seat. I grabbed my digital recorder just in time for the thunder!
We have a Gemini Full Moon tomorrow at 12:14pm NZT. Gemini is ruled by Mercury who recently went direct on November 29th bringing us into the phase of it’s synodic cycle that opens us for conscious integration of what occurred during the powerful, short, retrograde period November 11-29.
Important ideas bubbled to the surface from the depths and it’s time to start putting them in place, or at least planning ways to put them in place if they were long term initiatives. Go back to read your journal for this period as you may have mused about them there,
Neptune will turn direct a few days after this moon. A slow turn of the key, deep in the thick plasmic waters of our collective subconscious. What are we dreaming together? In which movie script are we colluding in our role play? Which actor are you playing / am I playing? Which part is the act and which part is authentic?
My aural offering ( a.k.a “ Astro Musical Intervention podcast” ) for this Full Moon is an Integration Sound Journey. We travelled deep in Scorpio season, aided by many of the planets being retrograde in water signs. This 44 min journey is designed to give you a gentle sonic space to float, breathe and take an inner journey to places known only to you.
There are a few bumps and rattles here and there… unintended things got into the loops, a dog shakes his collar, a noisy foot pedal .... but some of these things happened inside such deep beautiful spaces that I invite you to relax even more if you notice them, knowing this is a human transmission!
The journey starts with a spoken word invocation and guided relaxation. Followed by sounds including drum, tongue drum, guitar, kōauau, chimes, bowls, leaves, a stream, bush steps and yesterdays thunderstorm. There are also four song ‘islands’ in this ocean.
